  1. Fraser Island lies off the Queensland coast, a four-hour drive north of the capital of Brisbane.
     
     Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Qantas Airlines runs daily direct flights to the Fraser Coast/Hervey Bay from Brisbane and Sydney with connections to all other ports as well as daily coach and train transfers from Brisbane.
     
     Kingfisher Bay Resort is a 45-minute ferry ride from Urangan Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay. Coach transfers are available from all transport terminals in Hervey Bay to Urangan Boat Harbour.
     
     A vehicle barge departs daily from River Heads south of Hervey Bay

     Ex Hervey Bay: 8.45am, 12.00noon, 4.00pm, 6.30pm
     Ex Kingfisher: 7.40am, 10.30am, 2.00pm, 5.00pm
     
     Vehicle barge:
     Ex River Heads: 7.15am, 11.00am, 2.30pm
     Ex Kingfisher: 8.30am, 1.30pm, 4.00pm
     
     Extra Charges apply for catamaran transfers and/or vehicle barge. Not included in the room/ villa rates unless otherwise stated.

  Child Policy

  1. Cots for 0-3 infants: Available on request. Cost is AUD$15 per stay.
     
     Children's accommodation (4-14yrs): FOC when sharing with adults and using existing bedding.

  Car Parking Facilities

  1. Conventional vehicles can be parked free of charge in the open air car park at the Urangan Boat Harbour Terminal, or for an additional charge in the adjacent secure car parking facility.
     
     Four wheel drive parking is available free of charge within the resort grounds.
